Everything happens for a reason!

On September 30, i got what i thought was the best news of my life...i found out i was pregnant! Jason and i had been trying to comceive and when i saw the postive pregnancy test i was estatic, my dreams of becoming a mother had come true! I went to the Dr. on October 1 and receieved another positive pregnancy test, i was spotting a little and we were not sure what my conception date was so the Dr. did an ultrasound and he could not find the yolk sac. He sent me to get blood work and an ultrasound at the hospital the next day. The next day i went the ultrasound and they still couldnt find anything, when i met with the Dr. following the ultrasound he said that he thought i was having a miscarriage due to not finding anything and the fact i was bleeding some. He wanted to to have another ultrasound on Monday. On Monday i went for the ultrasound and when we were finished i knew that something was wrong the technican told me to wait to go see the dr until the Radiologist looked at the ultrasound,, something that had never been done before. When i got to the Dr. office i got the news...i had a tubal pregnancy. The news was devistating...i wanted to be pregnant and be a mommy more than anything! The Dr. told me i had to have surgery as soon as possible. They scheduled the surgery for 8:00 the next morning. I had a flood of emotions going through me, not only was i losing my baby but i was also having major surgery. The dr explained that they would just remove the pregnancy and save my tube unless something was wrong...well it turns out after the surgery there was something wrong. The tissue at the end if the tube was completly dead and this was the reason it had happened, it embryo could not get through the tube so it just stopped there. They are still not sure why the tube was dead but they said they are glad they did find it because it could have caused some serious complications. The Dr. is very positive in the fact that we will be able to concieve again and that we shouldnt have any problems doing so!

I remained to keep my faith in God throughout the whole process, i had to remind myself multiple times daily that everything happens for a reason!

It has been a while since we posted a blog. We had a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving and Christmas spending the holidays with the people we care about the most!

We hope that the new year is filled with many blessings. We hope to purchase our first house and get married in the year 2009. Only God knows what the future holds and hopefully all of our hopes and dreams comes true!
